Naples Airport has no hotel inside the terminal, and the terminal closes at night: the airport says it shuts from 22:30 until the early morning unless flights are delayed, and that you cannot stay inside overnight waiting for a flight. Most travellers are better off sleeping in the city, which is close. The fixed taxi fare is €21 to Piazza Garibaldi and the central station and €24 to the port, and the Alibus shuttle costs €5.
One date matters this season. The airport operator GESAC says Naples Airport will be closed in November 2026 for runway renovation. Its notice of 21 September 2026 gives no exact dates, so check with your airline which airport your flight uses before you book a hotel for November.

Hotels next to the airport
If you land late or fly at dawn, a hotel within walking distance saves the taxi and the wait for the terminal to open. Millennium Gold Hotel on Via Comandante Umberto Maddalena, the road outside the airport, describes itself as 600 metres' walk from the terminal. Remember that the terminal is shut overnight, so a hotel next door does not let you check in for a flight any earlier than one in town.
Staying near the station or the port
For most trips the better base is in town. Around Piazza Garibaldi you are on the Alibus route (€5, about 15 minutes to the airport) and next to the central station for trains to Pompeii, Sorrento and Rome. If your next stop is Capri or the Amalfi Coast by sea, a hotel near Molo Beverello puts you a walk from the ferries. The Alibus takes about 35 minutes from the airport to the port, and the fixed taxi is €24.
A shared taxi (taxi collettivo) also runs from the airport to the central station and Molo Beverello for €6 per person, leaving once three passengers are aboard.
