Use this before accepting an offer or changing a price. This pilot covers one item per order, US domestic sellers without an eBay Store, and four supported category groups. Results are estimates for the settings you enter.
What this calculation includes
The fee base includes the item price, buyer-paid shipping and buyer sales tax. Collected sales tax is excluded from seller revenue. Category rates apply up to $7,500 per item, with the excess tier shown in the official tariff. The per-order charge is $0.30 at $10 or less and $0.40 above $10.
Promoted Listings General is modeled as a percentage of the full fee base on an attributed sale. This is not a prediction of whether a sale will be attributed. Priority click-based advertising is not calculated.
Scope and category exclusions
Store subscriptions, international sales, currency conversion, seller-performance surcharges, discounts, refunds, multiple items per order, shipping exceptions and special categories are outside this pilot. Most categories excludes the special categories listed on eBay’s fee page, including watches, jewellery, handbags, bullion, NFTs, heavy equipment and athletic sneakers.
The media preset excludes Vinyl Records and NFT categories. The cards preset covers the selected collectibles groups named in the official table. Choose a preset only after checking your exact category. Additional insertion, upgrade or other fees can be entered manually; they are not selected automatically.
Fees were checked on 6 October 2026. The announced currency-conversion change for 14 October is outside this domestic pilot. Verify the current official tariff before relying on a listing estimate.

- Yes. Choose Target profit and enter your desired profit after costs. The tool searches across the supported fee tiers and checks the price in cents. Some settings leave no profitable price within the supported range.
- Do you connect to my eBay account?
- No. Inputs and the scenario comparison remain in this browser page. Nothing is imported from your account or uploaded; leaving or reloading clears the scenarios.
- Does this cover every eBay category and seller?
- No. This is a US domestic non-Store pilot for selected categories and one item per order. Store, international and special-category sales need different rules.
